My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Great Epic Fantasy Story that his held in a place where a great drought has damaged the crops and the people are dying from hunger and poverty. The sorcerers that are in charge of each land don’t suffer from this since they don’t have the necessity to eat. Every sorcerer has to make an elaborated spell that not always work to do any kind of magic. When a being appears that can do magic on its own and have the power to overthrown the Council, then its set to capture by any means regarding that this being could be dangerous or evil.

This story is written from four points of view:

  • Blais: sorcerer that is a self-proclaimed outcast since the execution of his brother, that tries to make sorcery available to everyone.
  • Gala: Blais’s creation. A beautiful young woman with power beyond anyone has seen.
  • Augusta: Blais ex-fiancée. A great sorceress that fears Blais creation and would do anything to get killed.
  • Barson: Augusta’s lover and head of the army with a plan of his own.

Note: I received this book free in exchange of an un-biased opinion.
