THE SKELETON IN THE CLOSET

The Skeleton in the Closet by Angie Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A very enjoyable story about a girl with remarkable wit and self-assurance, who lives with her pet skunk, Lucy, and a gangster ghost, Frankie, in her family old house. “Due to previous complications, she is penniless and had to sell all of her things to get out of a law suit (Story of the first instalment)”.

While the town is celebrating the anniversary of a very important historical event, a murder occurs, and our main character, Verity, is the one to found the body along with her sister, Melody. The sheriff immediately makes her a suspect, being a person non-grata in town.

A great secret is about to be revealed, and the living and the dead will do anything to keep it hidden.

This cozy mystery thriller is a jewel. From the first line I was laughing my head off.
I will definitely be reading the first story of this series, there are so many hints in the second that makes it irresistible to pass, and be keeping an eye out for the next story coming out 2016.

Note: I received this title free from Netgalley for an honest review.
