When you begin to read a book you embark in an adventure through the pages and the story weaved by the author. This is the first book I’ve read from Lauren Bird Horowitz so I didn’t know what to expect. I’m so glad that this book exceeded my expectations, it wraps all the feelings of the characters in a way that you can make it your own.

Noa, a sixteen year old girl, is filled with guilt and sadness for the loss of her bigger sister Isla. Callum, an eighteen year old boy, has also lost his sister and founds in Noa a kindred spirit that will make him crave for her touch and her light. The story is complex and multidimensional, full of twists and surprises that will keep you guessing till the end. A paranormal fantasy of cross stared lovers.

This book series is excellent for young adults.
