A great story for young adult readers.
This is the second installment of this series, and would recommend to read the first one to get a feeling of the characters.
Our main character, Anise, is struggling with her magic and need to cleanse it, to keep working as a baker's apprentice. Her natural magic is tainted with death and she needs to find an outlet to drain it.
The solution might be more dangerous than the problem.
