MONSTERLAND

Monsterland by Michael Okon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every kid loves a theme park, but a monster park with real werewolves, vampires and zombies thatā€™s pretty amazing. Anyone would go, even just for curiosity.
Michael Okon presents us a world where a catastrophic event leaves behind a deadly decease that makes the human body ā€œvitality impairedā€ with an endless craving of raw meat, so they become what we call Zombies. This is transmitted by fluids of the infected. The world is trying to find a cure, and the great philanthropist Dr. Vincent Conrad designs these theme parks (MONSTERLAND) to have a place to investigate and find a cure for the zombies and the other creatures he found in his expeditions.
Wyatt is a teen working at a burger joint and has the opportunity to see his real hero, Dr. Conrad, and is offered tickets to the parkā€™s opening. So he and his friends set out to enjoy a one in a lifetime opportunity. What could go wrong?
Praise Michael Okon writing. This tale is a non-stop ride through a monster filled world, where the most vicious are the ones that looks human.
