This is a very touching story, that the author expertly balance with enough romance and hope.
The author portraits a difficult situation with so much detail that it sucks you into the life of the characters, their experiences and how unfair sometimes life is.
Domestic violence in any form like: psychological manipulation, economical restraint, fear of physical abuse and neglect, more when there are children involved is a very delicate matter. We need to acknowledge and support the victims.
It broke my heart in an specific situation that I started to cry thinking of how many women have gone through this.
