What We Find

What We Find by Robyn Carr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Praise Robyn Carr for a remarkable book!
This is the kind of tale where the author brings to life the surroundings, atmosphere and quality of the place. It makes you feel like you are there and are part of the story.
The characters are complex and some just down to earth.
The setting is a campground where people go to vacation, relax, hike, be adventurous. Sullivan's Crossing is famous and full with hikers when the weather is warm, but some people go out of season to escape and figure out their lives. This is the case of Maggie, a respectable neurosurgeon that has a lot of bad things happen in a short period of time and is overwhelmed to the point of exhaustion.
This is a story of things lost and what we find, may that be hope, happiness, love, respect...
A great start to a new series.
