It is a great way to show children how difficult live was back in time, and how much things have changed. This book can be read to small children, since there are great illustrations that portraits life in the American West. Also, this book is perfect for middle graders to read an immerse in a world long gone but that marks the way we live now.

Love this book.
It is a great way to show children how difficult live was back in time, and how much things have changed. This book can be read to small children, since there are great illustrations that portraits life in the American West. Also, this book is perfect for middle graders to read an immerse in a world long gone but that marks the way we live now.
It includes small biographies of important people of that era, and definitions of words and places of that time.
